Romantic Holiday Cottages in Cornwall
We love Cornwall and wanted to share this one with you - a cute small holiday cottage in Polperro, one of the most romantic coastal towns in Cornwall. Polperro has a great harbour with an active fishing fleet so check out one of many top restaurants and good pubs for freshly caught fish on the menu.
Polperro Romantic Holiday Cottage - Seascape Cottage (sleeps 4)
We stayed in this one last year and loved it! This lovely cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and offers great accommodation for up to four guests but it doesn't feel too big for that romantic weekedn getaway for the two of you - it's snug downstairs, has a lovely master bedroom with a view to die for (across the harbour onto the ocean!) and you can use the second bedroom to dump all that excess bagage!
The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs - there's some really great ones in this town. We would also recommend the art gallery on the edge of the town center where local artists display their work and prices are very very reasonable (especially if you're used to London or Lake District prices...)
Good base to explore the area, walk along the shore or just stay in and take in the view! Only downside is the lack of parking - we parked on the back road and it was about a 10 minutes' walk.
