Built in the late 16th Century, Christmas Cottage has recently been lovingly restored, making it the perfect place to escape to. It is a cosy, one bedroomed cottage full of character, with exposed beams and stone walls. The ideal retreat for two. The cottage, which has just been awarded a 5 star rating, is set in the heart of old Kenilworth town, a stone's throw from some of the town's best eating places and historic pubs and just a few minutes walk from Kenilworth Castle.
From the front door, you enter into a cosy sitting room, complete with working wood burning stove - ideal for relaxing in front of after a bracing country walk. The kitchen at the back of the property has been fully modernised and overlooks a pretty courtyard garden. Stairs off the sitting room lead you up to the gorgeous country cottage bedroom, with plenty of storage and an ensuite bathroom which includes a roll top bath and luxurious shower.
Christmas Cottage is a complete home and provides all the basics for your stay; fresh bedding and towels, in the kitchen you will find tea, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil and fresh herbs. Also provided are board games, books and DVDs for those lazy afternoons!
