Welford Cottage, Stratford Upon Avon ~ A luxury cottage in the heart of Shakespeare Country
Part of an exclusive 19th Century barn conversion development, Welford Cottage provides an excellent standard of accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting, but only a five minute drive to Stratford Upon Avon and on the borders of the gorgeous Cotswolds.
Welford Cottage was sympathetically refurbished in the Summer 2009 and can comfortably accommodate 4 people. It is beautifully decorated throughout with antiques, period pieces and attention to detail.
On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge/dining room with exposed beams and a feature fireplace. To ensure your stay is as relaxed as possible you will find candles, music CDs, a large selection of DVDs and also quality magazines at your disposal.
From the lounge; French windows open out onto the private terrace garden, with seating for 4 people, wonderful views and open access to the communal gardens.
The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Off the entrance hall there’s a downstairs toilet and a staircase leading to the first floor, which has a stylish new bathroom and two elegantly furnished bedrooms - One with a king-size bed and the other with a double bed. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and most importantly comfy mattresses.
