Sleeps 2 - Groom’s Cottage is a luxurious romantic retreat set in a beautiful and peaceful location on the edge of Northumberland National Park. The cottage has been graded Four Star and awarded a Gold Award.
Its kingsize four poster bed as well as its location makes it the perfect hideaway for a romantic break in Northumberland, a walking holiday or a sight-seeing tour of castles along the Heritage Coast, Harry Potter’s Alnwick Castle, Holy Island or Hadrian’s Wall.
Groom’s Cottage has a spacious open plan living and dining room with woodburning stove and an outlook to the quiet courtyard with open farmland beyond. There is also a large TV and DVD player with romantic films.
The cottage has a large kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven and hob, fridge-freezer and of course the all important champagne glasses! Relax and unwind in the luxurious bath in the ensuite bathroom, which also has a shower, WC and basin.
Enjoy a romantic meal by candle light or invite your friends to join you at the dining table which seats 6. Or BBQ and eat out in the sheltered courtyard. For a romantic meal out try The Treehouse Restaurant at Alnwick Gardens or The Tankerville Arms at Eglingham.
