Sleeps 2 - Tucked away in the unspoilt village of Tywardreath this romantic detached stonebuilt hideaway for two was once the robing room of the landed gentry for the beautiful village church next door. Tastefully modernized and equipped to a high standard the cottage is close by some lovely local beaches and is in the heart of “Daphne du Maurier” country.
The living/dining room has beams and a wood-burning stove and wooden floor. The compact kitchen has a tiled floor and lovely French doors opening onto the garden. The bathroom is completely tiled with an over-bath shower.
Upstairs the double bedroom has sloping ceilings and low beams with a dressing room/cot room and lovely views of the historic church and open Cornish countryside.
In the area: Fowey is nearby, with many beaches such as Par Sands a lovely large sandy beach, and Readymoney Cove – ideal for rock-pooling at low tide. Also within easy reach: The Eden Project, many National Trust properties and gardens, golf, horse riding and an extensive range of watersports.
