Oozing character and charm this home-from-home hideaway that was formerly a blacksmith's barn has rough cast walls, exposed beams, slate floors and a huge inglenook fireplace - all creating the perfect background for a truly romantic holiday whilst in Cornwall. The private sunny patio, set within its own beautiful garden, offers an ideal place to relax and unwind, in a secluded location, close to fantastic beaches yet deep in the Cornish countryside.
There is a cosy sitting/dining room with open log fire and a galleried spacious double bedroom with exceptionally large en-suite bathroom upstairs. The fully-equipped kitchen with stable door leads out to the private sunny patio and large garden with garden furniture and barbeque. There’s also a small utility room with toilet, hand basin, washing machine and tumble drier, central heating throughout and private parking for two cars on site. The cottage has free Wireless Broadband and is dog friendly – one medium sized dog is welcome (£25 supplement).
Rooky's Nook is ideally situated to take advantage of the stunning North Cornwall coastline and its fantastic beaches, the ancient castle of Tintagel and the King Arthur legends, the picturesque village of Boscastle and the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac. Slightly south of Rooky's Nook are the Camel Estuary, Rock and Padstow and the beautiful sandy beach at Daymer Bay.
