Little Seed Field | A glorious hot tub glamping cabin set in a romantic meadow with views of The Yorkshire Dales

We loved the setting and views of this site so much that we just had to include Little Seed Field. With only seven cabins, thoughtfully positioned in a beautiful meadow with stunning views across the Yorkshire Dales, it offers peace, quiet and some of the best stargazing in the country. It’s dog friendly too so bring your four legged friend to complete your romantic break in Yorkshire.

Little Seed Field is a small collection of glamping cabins in Nidderdale, an area of outstanding natural beauty near Ripon in the Yorkshire Dales. The pods are simply yet tastefully furnished and some even have an en-suite bathroom and wood burning stove. There is also a neat purpose-built communal building with kitchen and bathroom facilities.

This really is a place to relax, enjoy the surroundings and just be in the moment. The large site offers plenty of space to wander and explore, including some pretty seating areas. And with those views to wake up to you’re bound to get your day off to a great start. The site is west-facing so you’ll even get stunning sunsets in the evening and because of its remote location it is a fantastic spot to do some stargazing.

And if you did manage to tear yourself away from your cabin then there are some great walks right on your doorstep, ranging from a relaxing stroll to some serious hikes through the dales. There are also some show-stopping visitor attractions nearby. Try Fountains Abbey, a World Heritage Site featuring one of the largest remaining Cistercian Abbey ruins in Europe, combined with the stunning 18th century Royal Studley water gardens.

The little cathedral city of Ripon is also well worth a visit. With its independent shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants it’s easy to spend a lovely afternoon or evening here. Or drive a little further up the road to visit the rather nice spa town of Harrogate.

And at the end of a great day out, return to your very own slice of heaven at Little Seed Field. Arrive, settle down, and…relax.
