The most romantic glamping breaks in the UK (and abroad)
So you love the idea of the great outdoors, cooking over an open fire and looking up at a starlit sky last thing at night? But also want a comfy night’s sleep and some of the little luxuries that make a romantic break extra special? Then we have lined up some of the most romantic glamping breaks in the UK (and abroad).
First up is the newly listed Bulworthy Cabin in a romantic woodland glade in Devon. We love its secluded setting, the use of local wood and reclaimed materials. It’s off-grid too so you can truly experience living in a cabin in the woods. A perfect romantic glamping retreat in Devon. Owners Anna and Pete also work hard to promote other glamping breaks in Devon so for more info check out their website at www.devonglamping.uk.
For those preferring to sleep under a canvas for the true glamping experience we recommend The Glade in beautiful Hampshire; again this is completely secluded and in a beautiful woodland with views to die for (see pic above). For a combination of canvas and some bohemian style furnishings we think you will love one of the fabulous Yurt Retreats in Wiltshire. And if sunshine is your thing (and who would argue with that) then try these luxury safari style tents on the gorgeous Costa Brava in Northern Spain.
Who could resist a cute shepherd’s hut? We feature two on our website; first up is lovely Bathsheba with stunning views across the Devon countryside and a complete outdoor kitchen and shower. The equally gorgeous Shepherd’s Hide is located on the Essex coast in a quiet nature reserve. Near London, but at the same time a million miles away.
And just up the coast is this super romantic old Dutch barge on a sleepy Suffolk mooring near woodbridge. Staying at Twee Gebroeders isn’t exactly glamping but we just had to include it because it is so different.
Choices, choices… just try them all. Enjoy!
